reddit DNS fun
Last night we had a bit of a fiasco transfering the domain for reddit.com. We’re one day of propagtion delays away from being back on track. Although, to be honest, the spamish landing page was beginning to grow on me.
Accountability is paramount here at reddit hq, but we’re not going to play the blame game. Besides, it’s clear that the alien was wholly responsible for this blunder.
We’re also pleased to announce that the alien is being promoted to senior mascot.
Normally this is the kind of thing I would read about on reddit!
Slashdot still doesn’t consider this “News for Nerds”. They’re so Web 1.0.
